my kpb 64mb  have avg speed about 92mbps


WHAT IS IMMPORTANT is -----> Write speed (Buffer= 16384 K) if you look my picture.

in my picture you will see  the  Write speed is (Buffer= 16384 K)---> 94.6MB/s

so that is the speed of card - the tasks what your 5d3 needs to run to make movie and what data rate can get out for raw recording.

how did you get sound ?   i have 5d3 and my build is 1.1.3 with nigthly december 17 + kpb 1000x 64Gb (since then i didnt shoot nothing due to a lack off time)

all i know is that you need some point in frame to lock on and just move the tripod with camera in certain intervals...but its hard and your  editing with music is awesome!!

i was kind of wrong, it did convert all of the .mlv files to the .raw extension, it crashes when i clicked the convert to dng files.

i had some crashes with this too, so i used this tehnique


Import your raw files from CF card to Data storage (HDD) and after you do this take one raw file out from HDD and convert.. when this will work click on other 50Gigz of raw files you have (on your 64GB CF card) and convert all ... thats what i do and dont have crashes...

where to put those LUTS in adobe folder ?

Is there a way to faster export the composition from AE  where i  used ACR so i dont need to render each sequence/composition to get it in premiere CC?



so i open dng into AE and collor correct in ACR after that i want to open in Premiere CC for adding LUTs and editing all clips and export/ render to Youtube or Vimeo

So workflow   RAW files (lets say 10 or 15)   converted to dng

dng imported to AE ---> CC with ACR ---> exported the fastest way to Adobe Premiere and there edited in timline then exported as Best quality for YOutube or Vimeo

I have a question where did you get Adobe Camera Raw??  It seems i dont have this version in my Adobe after effects CC pro and not in Adobe Premiere CC and not in Light room?

What version do you use ?


I wish you make some 5Dmk3 tutorials as well and what export settings do you use to get the most out of 14Bit raw when uploading to youtube or vimeo!

2nd question i made some night shoots in RAW on my 5Dmk3 ISO 640 f2.8 shutter 1/48  1920x1080 raw and when i use i get alot of noise in my night shoots and dont know how to remove those nasty (digital grain) noise ... i have tryed all  and didnt work for me

@pind the partymode is for better pictures in premiere, "could" also help in resolve and speedgrade, but it worked without it - its up to you. the TIF Model Tag is for using profiles in ACR, leave it untouched if you dont need it.

Can someone be so kind and make a video (youtube or vimeo) tutorial for us noobs with not that much experience in computers

I use canon 5D3+ Latest nightly build 3.1.2014 and shoot video in raw and  not in raw.mlv (i think sound is not working in those latest builds)

Option 1

- i have used   RAW 2  cinemadng converter (made by chmee) and in 3 days i ended up with 450Gigz of data on one of my data HDDs
-after i get cdng i import in Davinci Resolve 10 lite and add bmd film (color space) and bmd film  (Gamma) then select all clips and adding 3D LUTs
-exporting from davinci resolve to Premiere and  and render to final export

Option 2

with   Ginger directly import raw files from 5d  mk3 into PremierePro CC or Lightroom for ACR fast color adjustments

Option 3

with Adobe Dynamic link use dng files in Adobe Speed Grade and export to Premiere pro for final export

Option 4

I would like to try GoPro Studio with Raw2cineform but it looks like hard time geting those dng with this command prompt  for me

so i am asking is there some one who can make GUI for this?

I come with a few questions :
- I didn't found if calling the ACR window was possible in Adobe Premiere Pro CC...why in AE not in Premiere ?
The only option seems the use of LUT.
- Would it be possible to translate an .XMP file of ACR in .cube or any LUT file ?
Da Vinci Resolve is an awesome tool... but i prefer ACR and find faster (only in termes of grading...not workflow) to have a great image than any other tool...
- ACR will be supporting a video monitoring ? or even an computered (DVI, Display port...) one ? Full screen without datas ?

I have also this kind of problem running windows 8.1 and Adobe premiere Pro CC and did not find the ACR so now i am trying with adobe bridge with no success ...I also use Davinci lite 10 and it works great with LUTS but for grade i am not used to davinci.. There is another option i guess with adobe speed grade i did not test it yet

Supertom make sure you not recording on 2 cards instead of just one cf card and not on sd +cf together

RAW files from 5dmk3 +Magic lantern raw -> converted to CDNG and Edited in Davinci Resolve added LUT from MAX hunter and exported as Quicktime 12Bit 444 to Premiere where from render as MOV for Vimeo 30BITRATE (file 2 big for free vimeo account that is why i uplodade to shitty youtube) ...

Preset Cinestyle and No collor correction made (ISO 1600 F2. Lens 18-35 f2.8 Canon L and last shoot with Cine Samyang 85mm f1.5 PS: there is much less noise in original file (due the youtube compression

I have no problems with kpb 64gb and they comes with lifetime warranty so i think you can return the card if dead any time and exchange for new..
Make sure u make some testspeed with your new cards! And not in preview mode make sure you do it in movie mode
