I really enjoyed this wrapper for cr2hdr... recently updated my mac and ran into this as well...  :-[

is there anything else out there similar as easy as drag and drop? or is the lightroom plugin or switch thing the only way to convert now?

Nice shot @kbeecher and did you use this in 100/1600?
99% sure i used ISO 1000 (not 100)/3200

guilty i did use a ever so slight bit of noise reduction on the sky and trees

Just wondering... does FPS Override work on this yet?

love Magic Lantern on my 6D but hate not being able to bump down to 1fps and focus when shooting astrophotography like on my t2i...

I updated all the links above, instead of adding more posts... Really hope you can help me wrap my brain around this...

ramp multiple is what i meant..

Quotehuh?

It's not very clear to me what you are talking about, so could you be more precise/exact with your words and/or provide screenshots of what you are doing/seeing?

I guess i dident explain that well... I see all the settings, and i check them all, it seems to only adjust some... attached are 3 screens, the first 2 with the first and second files, which you can see the clarity does not get ramped... as well as exposure.... and the last image is what im trying to ramp to (with a couple files marked as keyframs to account for lighting when sun drops)

ok, so im sure somewhere in here people have mentioned this, or hopefully (fingers crossed!) found a solution to this.

So im using this ramp script for a timelapse, and have adjusted the start, end, and set keyframes by using the star method, but when i go to ramp all, it takes care of everything except ramping Clarity..... I noticed there was a setting for ramp clarity 2012 but nothing really else, is that it? or am i missing something here?

basically im trying to take a bunch of camera raw adjustments, set it, then adjust all on out point (and any changes inbetween) then click go. not getting certain values changing right...

Please correct me if im wrong, but im pretty sure you just put ML on the card, and reinstall like you did the first time. So then it recognizes ML agian.

Format card with cardreader, format in cam, insert into cardreader, copy nightly contents to card and start again. Results?

guess i never tried formatting it that way before.. i always just had been formatting in cam, then replacing files and booting up. is this bad/the wrong way?

Soo I recently updated to a newer version of Magic Lantern and sometime my camera freezes when in live view mode for video, and i have to pop the battery out.... anyone else having this problem? it never did that before.....

Edit: finally had time and followed directions below, but its still doing it... I think it may be my fault though of turning the camera on too quickly after inserting card?

Its hard for me to understand, because this is not a fact. Folks have things set up as to make it a impossibility though.

Are there software companies out there making money on a product? Yes. Could there be a 3rd party firmware company? Yes. Are you going to continue to tell me its impossible? Probably.

Paying developers goes against everything this project is about. It will (and should) never happen. If you want to help the project along, learn how to code, or at least test the software and provide useful feedback. No amount of money will help move the project along. That is just a fact.

So if 2 billion dollars dropped on ML's lap to go into a new direction of paying a team of developers (or hire more, or whatever really) full time to work on this project it would go nowhere??

Besides, from the poll above it just looks like we need more cowbell!  :o

Bottom of the line, I think anything that keeps ML alive is a step in the right direction, even if people like me have to pay money to use it.

I would love to give money to people who created an amazing tool that lets me do great things on my cameras.

Dmilligan, I get that, but a million dollars will make most people forget about a bruised butt, and look forward to developing an even greater product.

Well.... thats an eye opener. I really hope this thing stays alive for the future of things.

My thoughts if i were in this predicament would be.....

1. make things so if anyone steals the source code, you sue them. Or else it will keep happening.

2. Make ML where you have to donate $5 or more to download (or whatever cost really you need to keep things running)

3. link up with paypal instead of bitcoin so i can easily donate lots of money to keep it going.

Hindsight is 20/20 though

Im just trying to figure out where the opportunities lay to get things better moving apart from messing with code, or developing.

and for the record Walter, i know how to read and understand.

General Help Q&A / New Stable Release?
September 24, 2014, 09:42:24 PM
Heya, I've been using Magic Lantern for some time now both on my 550D and 6D and was just wondering when there would be some sort of new/updated stable release made? Or if there will ever be....

I mean i'm fine with nightly builds, I just feel so much better when the words "stable release" comes with it. hah.
