I did all the steps and it looked fine. It stated that Magic lantern was loaded. I cut off the camera, turned it back on and my "menu" looks exactly the same. What did I do wrong.  Using t4i with battery grip.

I want to use magic lantern with my t4i, and I am aware that it is in the alpha stages. I am looking at the steps to prepare my camera and it states to reset settings to default. If I click "clear all camera settings, will that also reset the "numbering" of the images on my camera. I don't want to reset the actual numbers to my pictures and videos if I can help it.  I want to use magic lantern, mostly for time lapse and audio controls (which I know is not available as of yet).  I also want to clarify why I don't want to rename/renumber my images/video (in camera), it's due to archiving them in aperture.
