Hey nanomad and other developers!
I have a idea for a new feature. Can't we have USB mounting functionality? I mean to be able to access the SD through the usb cable. :) I know ML loads from SD but if we able to achieve that, it will be a great help to people who do not have a reader handy!

I actually can try to implement the feature (I am an embedded C developer), but the thing is I'm not familiar with the ML code and don't know if it's possible or not (Because the thing I said in above.).

The question is when ML loads, does it need SD card to continue operating or it has just been already copied in the memory?
What's the benefit?

A question just popped in to my head.

There was buzz a while back about clean HDMI out on the T4i, and while default firmware's HDMI signal is cropped down did ML ever get us full 1080p HDMI out? I'd love to know because I'm debating whether or not to get an Atmos Ninja or similar.
Hmm i think we should just try this one ourselves. Unfortunately I don't have a mini HDMI cable or adapter, so i can't atm. But it would be good to know.

I don't know if this is already outdated but:
QuoteWhile these devices are capable of recording 1080p 422 signals, the HDMI output from the Canon HDMI is limited to 1620x1080 (3:2) while the camera is not recording. This requires the user to crop the footage from the external recorder to 1620x910 (16:9) and then resize it to either 1280x720 (79%) or 1920x1080 (119%).

And how about the FPS of HDMI out? is this fixed to 24 or 25, or what does it depend on?

That's my video. :D

That was filmed long before PDRtool came out. Should probably add that in the description.
Yep, good idea. Cool video though ;)

I have just tried raw video on the 650d but the images have some noticable errors on multiple places - is anybody experiencing the same issue?

details:
650D on 1.0.4
EF-S 18-135 IS STM
ML for 650D 1.0.4 (3.8.2013 1st alpha build)

Raw Video:
1280 x 720 @ 25FPS
1/100 f5.6 ISO 100
converted to DNG via RAWnizer 0.6.0
Imported as a sequence in AE

Here's a video example of some other guy, if you watch in fullscreen you can see the pink dots on dark surfaces: (He used: Canon EOS 650D + 50mm f/1.8 II)
