I had the same issue, I wanted to add when I played the files back in camera they looked fine, however when viewed in MlRawViewer or converted they had the dark green color.

Sorry if this has already been discussed else where (or here I tried searching) I have used your tool v1.1 and its awesome thank you. Does it write the time code to the DNG such that after effects can pick it up (if that is even possible) and use it when "Use source timecode from file" is selected.

The LUT looks great. Hopefully soon I will have some graded footage to share using it. I noticed it is a little blue compared to the LUT's VisionColor uses, which is nice since it gets rid of the pink/red tints.

Tragic Lantern / Re: 50D and 40D Raw video
November 06, 2013, 09:00:06 PM
Could be a placebo effect (or mentioned earlier)
When I update any setting in ML on my 50D, the first time I shoot in RAW my write speed hovers around 65MBs. However when I make a change and turn the camera on and off (or just the first time I turn the camera on) I get write speeds around 75MBs. Does anyone else experience anything similar?

Raw Video / Raw File when battery dies
August 11, 2013, 04:55:21 PM
I have searched for this topic and was unable to find any information. I am currently using the 50D Aug 10 Tragic Lantern build (but have had the same issue with every other build). When I am recording a long clip I have had the issue where my battery will die (5 minutes in), the resulting file I am unable to pull out the DNG's from the raw files.

on the card I see:
backup.raw
M11-1001.RAW
.......
M11-1001.005

I believe there is important information in the footer section of the raw, is that is what is in the Backup.raw? do I need to merge that into the end of the M11-1001.Raw files?

If backup.raw does not contain the footer information, is it possible to have ML right before shutdown to write that footer information in?

2nd (or third) question. Is there a way to get a low battery indication warning of some kind, so I know to kill it right away?

Thank you for all of your hard work. Again sorry if this is already posted some other place.

I have had the best luck with the following to use ARC.

RAW -> DNG -> Lightroom4 -> PSD* (or Jpg) -> Premier pro -> SpeedGrade

*Lightroom4 does not convert to 16bit Tiff that Premier pro can read, I have read/seen lightroom 5 does this better.

DNG import to after effects -> any format useable via Premier pro takes a LONG time. (24 hour)
