exact same thing here; I'm also having this same issue with Alex's build when shooting with fps override and taking pictures in silent mode

I fixed this by going into the Canon menu and go to "LV func. setting" and make sure it's turned on Stills + Movie.

I had the same problem, and this solution fixed it.  Hope it works!

Thanks a lot! It appears to work! The LV menu was already in "stills + movie" but I changed the screen settings from "exposure simulation" to "movie display", now it is working. Thanks again!

Something really really weird happened to me today, let me explain: In ML menu, in order to activate the raw mode, I am asked to be into the movie mode. So far I am good; I've been testing since weeks now builds and shooting raw too. Problem is now that ML doesn't recognize Video mode and when I go into the ML movie menu, everything is greyed except the FPS override... So I was wondering what was wrong and manage to activate RAW with my usual aspect ratio, resolution etc.. (at this point everything is still greyed). Go back to liveview and hit set to start record. It starts record h264. Press a second time set and now it starts record raw AND h264 at the same time!! This is the first time that this is hapenning. Obviously I format the card, give my camera a new fresh install of ML bu the problem is still the same... Anyone knows where that might come from???

On another topic I would like to ask advices on something different; I don't want to post 1000 new topics so I prefer ask directly here:
With the build that I am actually using I would to know how to activate the intervalometer+bulb timer+silent picture in order to get a raw DNG file with a shutter speed of 10sec, picture taken every 15sec. If anyone know the trick I would love to know how to do this!

When shooting RAW video are making sure ur LV is movie mode?

my DNG's seem to be fine mate.

Yep! LV is movie mode!
But now I'd noticed something very stange:I own a 24-105mm; in crop mode (x5):
when shooting at 24mm: image is perfect
when shooting at 105mm: pink image

Fps overide is set on 24fps exact...

I didn't had this problem with the previous build that I used (14th june)

UPDATE: just to be specific it's working perfectly with resolution 1920 but not higher (used to work just fine before)

UPDATE 2: pink image with aspect ratio at 2:1 in crop mode; perfect image at 2:35

Is this when you are Auto focusing? If so.. thats normal

Actually no! I only use the AF in photo mode... Are your dng files alright with the latest build?

Managed to solve the X5 and X10 how too shoot, took awhile as only just found the page to set up the framing box and things! all good stuff

I keep having pink images in crop mode with the lastest build (june 22nd); what settings did you use to get rid of that?
Any particular reslution or else?

thanks for your reply; I've already tried this, with the command line and with file splitter & joiner 3.3, here's what happend:
I have two files: 3.99gb and 532mb
- with command line, nothing happens, maybe i am typing the wrong command but I tried my best after all the reading that i've done to do no mistakes!
- with file spliter & joiner 3.3, it joins the files, but the final .raw size is still 3.99gb! weird!

After searching for an answer to my problem on this forum, nothing for me worked so I had to create a new topic (sorry if that bother someone..) to see if someone had actually the same problem as me:

It has been impossible for me to process files bigger than 4gb with raw2dng, I've tried also other new softwares, nothing worked! I've been testing the RAW module since the early stages, only been able to convert <2gb.

Yes I've used the "seach" of the forum and yes I've been reading all the guidelines/tutorials.
I've downloaded the last build of today (uploaded an hour ago) as the last raw2dng (uploaded 5hours ago) here:

just tried it! same issue and impossible to convert with raw2dng which still open and close very quickly without converting anything.

I've read all the posts about it, didn't find anything yet. Hopefully a solution will come out!

new try, this time I only renamed file.r00, file.r01, file.r02 into file.001, file.002, file.003.

Open file splitter & joiner v3.3; it found only file.001. I opened it, set the file directory on desktop, hit the join button.
After 5% of loading an error appear: "can't write to a file stream". I have no clue what I've done wrong!

I am on:
windows 7
latest raw2dng
build 29th may
file splitter & joiner 3.3
5d2
sandisk 64gb, 90mb/s

Hello guys!

After reading your posts I still have the same issue as Francis here.
I recorded 3 different files and have this:
file.RAW, file.R01, file.R02
I renamed them file.001, file.002, file.003 and open file "spliter and joiner v3.3" to merge them but the software message me an error after 4% of loading.

An other thing, if I try to convert my .RAW file of 4gb directly from raw2dng, it also opens and closes very quickly!

I tried different things and read all over ML forum but can't find anyone with a detailed answer!

Your help would be much appreciated!
