You just download the focus pixel maps from the link below, unzip them and drag them onto the black screen on MLV App. If it's still there, 3x3 chroma smooth shouldn't hurt ;)

Thank you so much, ZEEK!
I'll try and let you know if it worked as soon as I'll be back home.
Thank you again!

EDIT: Thanks ZEEK, it worked perfectly!!!

First of all, I'd like to thank you Danne for the amazing work you're doing.

I finally had the chance to try the new builds you created for the EOS M. They are so much fun, and the quality is absolutely incredible, and the 5K anamorphic rewired is brilliant.
I have used the September 24th build during the earth strike day, just to try it out quickly. And wow, the image quality I got using the MLVApp is just too good. And the focus pixels using your presets are just not there.
Thank you again for the work you and all the ML developers are doing!

I have a question and am wondering if any of you could help me.

Yesterday I had to literally run to quickly record something, and while doing so I disable the presets. Long story short, I manage to record the footage but instead of using:
5k anamorphic rewired, 1088x1632 10 bit lossless
I recorded anamorphic  1120x1680 14 bits lossless

As a result, I did manage to shoot what I needed but I'm not able to remove the focus pixels in MLVApp. Is there any way for me to get rid of them?
I searched in the forums but I don't think I found (or maybe understood) how to do it either in MLVApp or through mlv_dump.

If it can help, I uploaded the preset and non-preset samples below
https://we.tl/t-jgtbxyn9NJ

Thanks to anyone who has the patience to help me or point me in the right direction.

And thank you again, Danne, for the amazing work you're doing!

Awesome, Danne! Thank you so much for this!

Edit: I din't manage to get the CROP MODEs to work, but I only played around with it for 15 minutes. Will try more as soon as possible.

Are you guys kidding me? You are updating and improving MLV App at an incredible speed!
This new version looks amazing so far, and the quality of the colors is breathtaking!
Thank you so much for your work!

I'm happy the clip I provided had the kind of problems you guys were looking for :)

@dfort
That was the first clip I ever recorded with the camera, and when I saw the moire on the bricks I told myself it would be best to use it in crop_rec from that moment on

Feel free to let me know if I can help in other ways, that is recording clips... Or telling you about the best places where to eat and drink in Venice ;D

I realised I shot these back in October, time flies! I had just purchased this second-hand EosM and was exploring its potential. I believe I was recording in 3x5, but I would have to ask you guys to make sure I didn't just screw up!

Hope it helps :)

@mesebar2 - Upload a sample of an "unusable" shot of Venice and let's see what we can do with it. Preferably a very short (or trimmed) MLV.

Will do. I think I have some shots I took around Feb/Mar, before I opted to use only crop_rec with the EOSM. Are those okay or have there been changes in the 3x5? In that case, I could shoot new ones later/tomorrow  :)

Dfort, I live in Venice, Italy, and we have nothing but canals (highlights) and bricks (aliasing).
I can confirm that on my EOSM mv 5x3 is almost unusable here, while crop_rec produces excellent results!

Please, let me know if you need any footage :)
You guys rock, and so does the work you do!

Wow, that's brilliant!!!
I've got an important question, Loknar. What is the crop factor in the case of the resolution you used?

Upscale to any resolution you like on export.

You guys are great!

Raw Video Postprocessing / Re: MLVProducer: [v3171]

First of all, let me state once more how much I love MLVProducer. Thank You

@AWPstar

Also, the first MLV that loads after importing multiple MLV's works fine, but when I select any other MLV in the Group view, only the first frame displays correctly and playing the MLV within the program only increases exposure of said frame until completely white. If I chose any of the Logs the frame turns to grey as I play it.

Win 8.1

I experience the same issue. If i load more than 1 MLV, all MLVs but the first turn completely white after the first 1-2 frames. (Eos M, lossless 12-bit)

Good news!
New version will support lj92 compressed raw.
But i need to rework some code.

Please send me couple of MLV-files with lj92 compression(new crop mode).

This is fantastic news, AWPStar! I can't wait to try it!!!

Raw Video Postprocessing / Re: MLVFS windows client

Hello everybody!
I personally tried Pismo both version 1.71 and 1.80.
1.80 doesn't work for me with AE.
1.71, does work for me both with PP and AE.

With 1.71, once i mount a MLV folder (no matter if "Quick Mount" or "Mount..."), Premiere Pro CC works flawlessly, while After Effects CC gives me the following error: "the file format module could not parse the file (45::35).

However, after 10-20 seconds during which i get that error multiple times, AE works smoothly anyway
Am sharing this experience for it might help others :)

Thank you all for your amazing work

Yes, that is the idea :)
For having 1 single file and playing with Mlrawviewer. When and if needed i can create DNGs again.
#20
Hello everybody, and thank you for your amazing works!!!

I was wondering if it was possible to re-create a MLV video from its DNG files.
(A MLV i shot is not working properly, but i have the whole DNG sequence and would love to be able to create a new MLV out of it.)

Thank you in advance :)

I have the 16th July Built compiled by Laurenco on my 5D MK III.
For the first time i have tryed using the Audio RemoteShot, but i can't seem to make it work in Photo Mode, while it does perfectly in Video Mode.
Since it is usually stated when a function is available only for Video, i was wondering if i was doing something wrong while trying it in Photo Mode. I tryed both with LiveView ON or OFF, it would just not work until i put the camera in video mode.
Thanks for your help, and keep up the great work: Magic Lantern is just amazing!!!

Hi everybody, i encountered a problem!!!
I am using the 29th May build.
For the first time i recorded one take passing the 4GB limit, which i understood as not being a problem anymore with the newer builds.
I found the split files and merged them just the way RenatoPhoto suggests ( Rename files as file.001, file.002
Download file joiner splitter such as FFSJ v 3.3
http://www.softpedia.com/get/File-managers/File-Splitter-and-Joiner.shtml ).
When i then try to process my new joined file with RAWanizer (the same happens if i try with the new Raw2Dng instead), the dng files i receive are perfect until it reaches the 1183rd frame (1183*3,5Mb = 4GB) and since then i get only pixelated dngs up to the end (those dngs open perfectly, they simply show a pixelated pink frame)

Thank you for your help

p.s: if this question has already been discussed or solved, i apologize. I am trying to keep up with what's going on in the forum, but every day there are lots of new threads and posts and i could not find and answer so i thought i would ask for your help here
