Wow... I foresee a wonderful new zoom, 5mm fisheye to 3,500mm telephoto, with a mere 2mm protrusion from the lens mount... but how do you find the manual focus ring? Heehee Seriously though, this sort of ground breaking news is really exciting, and probably the military will fund it, use it in their applications, then it trickles down to us camera users.

Thanks so much for the Kindle version, it's ideal for a 7" tablet to carry whilst in the field with ML. It will not let me download from Rapidshare though, saying that permission denied by uploader....?

Loving and using a 7D. Upgraded from a 20D and am delighted I did, especially now I have some L glass to appreciate it. ML is just as amazing as the difference I get from the 17-85mm IS to the 17-40L.
