If your phone has an IR blaster, you can use an app which sends the correct signal via IR to the cam to trigger it remotely (emulating the RC6).

which is configurable. I control a TV, an EOS camera, an audio amplifier and Christmas lights with one app on my phone.

Hi, recently bought a used version, I wanted to know if by chance there is a workaround to remote control it like the 70D does via the app? I know 60D don't have WiFi, only have RC6 and switches.

Normally you would just be directed to Install Guide (Top of page -> User Guide -> Install Guide) or FAQ or the basic install instructions found in nightly builds download page (also on top of the page).
But 1.1.3 was designed to fight a vulnerability in the firmware update process resulting in blocking firmware downgrades. ATM the only way to get ML running is provided by CPS downgrading to 1.1.2. If you are lucky they will do it. Not all of them comply, though.

I was going to ask the question, so for now we have better time staying in 1.1.2, until a new build comes out?
