Unbricked :)

Disabled the assert handler, got into Canon menus, cleared settings and custom functions. Camera takes pictures, LiveView working.

Thank you very much for your help, it does really saved my life!
from what i remember, what we've doing is:

Part 1: standart troubleshooting procedure:
1. doing the usual troubleshooting procedure like starting the camera with and without memory card, trying all modes available on the dial, using different battries and lenses
2. stil noting, err 70. going into deeper troubleshooting
3. chat with a1ex, he generously giving me many handfull advices and modified autoexec required
4. boot the camera with modified autoexec to save the LOG
5. boot the camera with modified autoexec to clear the image quality settings - still ERR 70
6. boot the camera with modified autoexec to dump the ROM in case anything goes even worse

Part 2. what a1ex said is "dangerous" procedure
7. boot the camera with modified autoexec to bypass the assert handler, so the camera can response and goes into settings
8. successfully boot into menu, cleared all camera settings from the menu
9. rebooting, using formatted camera without ML
10. somehow the camera didn't response on aperture and shutter setting changes, other settings works
11. clear the custom function on the menu
12. works like a charm!

once again, i would like to thanks to a1ex for the help, and to all other ML developers, contributors, and users. my biggest respect for all of you :)

Cheers!

Looks like some photo setting got corrupted (e.g. picture quality).

Try to boot without card, or in C mode, or in any other mode. If you can get to Canon menu, clear camera settings.

If not, let me know when you have 1-2 hours for troubleshooting via chat.

Edit:
The clock battery seems to be dead.

Thank you for your reply sir,
i already tried to boot with and without card, in any mode available on the dial. the camera always shows err 70 , so i can't go into menu. i'm online on chat :)

Somehow i think maybe the firmware corrupted?
is there any way to force the camera to update firmware on that condition?
or maybe someone have better idea or solution?

Thank you

Greetings everyone
i'm sorry for my bad english.

I need help for my camera, Canon EOS 60D.
It's running firmware 1.1.1 + ML 2.3 latest stable release
i don't really remember how the problem started (my friend was using the camera when it broke)
but right now, the camera won't boot. it shows ERR 70 on the top LCD, and shows Err 70 with overlayed ML text
showing "ASSERT : FALSE at DevelopCombinat" on the rear LCD.

I've tried to runs it with and without card, using different batteries and lenses.
i've tried every steps suggested on "Camera looks like bricked? First things to try for restoring it."

fortunately, when testing with ML card inserted the camera write LOG files which i've uploaded to
http://download.parmadi.net/MLLOG/

i've tried using the blink test , the card door LED blinks.
The warranty for the camera has been expired, so please maybe i could use some help here?
Thank you very much
