cr2hdr is 32bit only. Catalina is 64bit only. YOu can transcode CR2 files into MLV files with raw2mlv and then process these in Mlv App. Maybe even mlv_dump will chew them and spit out dng files for all I know.
Cheers!

Switch (nor any other apps) are converting my dual-iso CR2's, its putting them into the not_dualiso folder. (Catalina 10.15.1) Has anyone experienced this?

Don't be frightened to do it yourself (I bet you will be anyway)!

There are 2 options:
1) Setup a development environment and edit source mlv_rec.c according to your needs. Then build your own ML. You will find the instructions and scripts written by dfort and others easy to follow.
Change case 3:
            start_delay = 10; break;
        default:
            start_delay= 0; break;

to

case 3:
            start_delay = 10; break;
case 4:
            start_delay = 37; break
        default:
            start_delay= 0; break;

37 is just an example, do as you like.

2. Load lua.mo, restart and start "Movie Delayed Start" from Scripts tab.
Then switch to Movie tab where you will find an entry "Delayed start" with "Delay Amount" from 0s to 10 min. Don't forget to check "Stop after"!

PS: Next time asking for a feature you should first check if there is a script for it. If there is you have to explain why it doesn't fit your needs.
Don't forget to mention the build you want to be changed.
Don't forget to mention the tab, module (if any), menu item, submenu item  you want to have changed. There is a ton of menu items around and sometimes they sound pretty similiar and we may have no idea what you are talking about.

Thanks! and I'll be sure to be more specific next time. And yes I am frightened to do this myself!

Feature Requests / Record Delay (more than 10 seconds!)
November 05, 2019, 05:14:39 PM
Hey guys, I love magic lantern but I'm in need of a recording timer longer than 10 seconds. I'm not sure how this isn't needed by anyone else but it would be great as I'm wasting precious card space while i setup shots of myself walking far from the camera. Thanks to anyone who can help to add this and all the dev's!

Filled a 32GB card with 3K / 2.35:1 / 23.97fps / 14bit lossless - Completely stable with zero bad frames! (I used cr2hdr v1.2 to extract DNG's on OSX Sierra and it worked perfect)

You guys are amazing!

Things you can try:

- figure out if it is a specific MLV file that is causing the problem (try mounting various combinations of the MLV files you have, a binary search would narrow it down to a single file the quickest)
- check for crash logs in ~/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports
- run mlvfs from the command line and send me any output

Also you could be a little more specific about what you mean by 'it fails'. Do you get an error message, does it crash, does it just sit there, what exactly happens. If you have lots of MLV files, or really large ones, it make take a while for mlvfs to index them, so it may sit there for a while until the indexing is finished. You can check the folder with the MLV files in it for .IDX files being created.

Thanks, The web GUI works as normal until I click the folder name containing the MLV's, It brings me to a blank page like I'm not connected to the web.

I have not tried running it from the command line as I'm not familiar with it. I pulled up the log but I'm not sure what to look for (It did say that thread#2 crashed). I copied one MLV to an external drive and ran MLVFS, and that worked fine. My assumption is that I filled the 32gb cf card to the point that MLVFS is not able to write anything else like the index files - is that even possible?.. My second 64gb card (that I didn't fill) worked fine with MLVFS. I should also mention the 32gb card was acting odd and has also done so in the past, and I though it was corrupt. I tried moving all the contents of the card to an external drive and was getting multiple error codes (-36, -43, -1407). Maybe my card is the issue here..? ugh..

I moved all the files to an SSD and then ran it through MLVFS and it worked fine.

Thanks again for all the help!

Nowhere. Why?

Well I'm having issues with MLVFS:
-The web GUI fails when I navigate to the folder containing the MLV's
-If I try running MLVFS directly on the folder with MLV's it fails
-The mount on my desktop is acting like an icon and thats about it (clicking it does not bring up a folder)

I thought an older version may fix this issue. I made sure the directory is a blank folder, I tried the previous version of OSXFuse, and I've just upgraded to El Capitan.. but still no luck.

Any help would be much appreciated, Thanks.

Where could I download older versions? Thanks

How many GB of MLV in total? If lots of footage then give it some time for MLVFS to generate all the required .IDX files for them to show up on the WebGUI.

64GB's; Ill try again and give it some time. Thx for the help.

I apologize if this has been asked, but its hard to track down - Right-clicking my folders brings up nothing for services. My MLV's are located on an external SSD if that makes any difference.

- Macbook Pro / 10.9.5
- I've installed the latest versions of FUSE and MLVFS (Also deleted previous versions)
- Attempted directly from CF and also from external SSD

Thanks in advance!

*Edit - Services is now working, however - WebGUI opens, navigate to the footage directory, WebGUI page does not exist. I attempt again, WebGUI fails entirely. Double clicking the mounted folder does not work either, but it shows up on the desktop.

What exactly is the problem?

I apologize for total lack of information I gave last night. I will upload more examples tonight. The original .DNG looks fine but once opened in Resolve 11 the issue appears (photoshop as well if highlights are completely brought down to accentuate the effect). The highlights are not rolling off whatsoever and instead an edge is appearing. I encourage someone to try opening this in Resolve to see what I am trying to explain. Thanks again!

magiclantern-Nightly.2014Oct07.5D3113 (black level fix off)
OSX Mavericks
MLVFS (no fixes applied, because I'm an idiot?)

Ran though exiftool to fix black level to 2048 and results are the same.

There was/is a problem with some of the convertors.

Run the DNG/s through Adobe DNG Converter and you should be fine with exiftool.

Thanks

I ran some files through exiftool and it changed the black level to 2048, but im still getting identical results.

Hoping someone can help me out as I'm already in a pinch for time! I have figured out every issue over the years but this one is going nowhere fast..

I believe this is a black level issue (vertical banding is present too, I really messed up!)

https://www.dropbox.com/sh/s7kscab0hlpw9hy/AAA69qiRAQiy5ci7ETVbVzWWa?dl=0

No matter what I do Exiftool always states:
0 image files updated
1 image files unchanged

Any help would be great, thankyou kindly!

I was having some of the same issues you originally had (Blank screen, one light blink) I'm using a SanDisk Extreme Pro 64Gb SDXC in my 550D. I BELIEVE What ended up working in my case was low-level formatting the card, boot version 2.2, then replace the ML files on the card with with version 2.3's. I think the install info for 2.3 explained that this is not recommended? Just my experience.. running fine so far.
