Hello,

Yesterday I went out and did some test. To be honest, it was a terrible day (windy and cloudy) I didn't have any luck getting the shots that I was looking for to share. Nevertheless, whilst post processing my shabby shots, I came across a few takes that were green/black and the rest were fine.

I shot with,

5D Mark Free
Canon 100mm F2.8L Macro
Komputerbay 64 1000x
Magic Lantern settings: MLV Raw record, sound enabled, 1920 x 1038 (1.85.1) aspect ratio, all the hacks on.

Ps - I also noticed an increased in digital noise when filming indoor, this could be because my scene was not lit properly as I was just using my light bulb.

I am not worried or panicking, I am just reporting a bug. However, I would like to know if I got some settings wrong.

regards

What's funny is the people that choose the D800 over the 5D Mk3. They called it useless and over priced. I can all most feel their regrets.

If this feature means we can shoot 14 bit Raw 1080 at 60fps/50fps then the 5D MK3 is going to be around for a long long time, well until canon release a Dslr that shoots 14 bit Raw 1080 60/50fps for 3K. I am sorry but even at 14-bit Raw 1080 and 2k 24/25fps is phenomenal for Dslr that only cost 3K. The image quality is comparable to high end production cameras that cost 20k+

The future is bright, the future is Magic Lantern.

The longest april fools joke I have ever seen.  ;D

I have the same problem. Well it's all down to ML to figure out the audio chip in the 5D mark 3ree and maybe give us a mic input selection feature. Or maybe we both just need to get a better microphone. :)

You can disable AGC in camera without ML. Press Menu button then go to SHOOT 4, SOUND RECORDING and then select manual.

RTFM man!
