Your SinCity Picture style is great! Cane you provide a way how to create my own, professional PS?

Thanks for trying to help :)

Perhaps a problem with write permissions of the drive with the mounting point.. I had that problem after updating mac osx to yosemite, just change it that everyone can read and write. Greets
Changed that, still the same.

Is it just the webserver that doesn't work? (does the mount still show up?) Or does it not work at all?
not work at all. MLVFS service is visible under "services"

Maybe i do something wrong with the installation proces? Is this method correct?

And have you been using RAW module?

auto IS ON while recording. OFF when not.
This could save loots of battery power and stabilization mechanism in our lens :)
Possible?

Thak you for reply  :)
Yes, that is the case.
Is readout speed can be increased ? At least for the exposure compensation ?
Maybe some code optymisation will help ? I dont think that exp. comp. is a CPU heavy function.

Also, REC indicator/ remaining time go crazy after parsing 2gb. I did IPB and ALL-I comparison to verify that.
I'am using Nightly2014May08 build

Hi. Deleting files in the settings folder did't work. ML still slow :(
Shuttler reaction is ok when magic zoom is off. Exposure compensation values still slow :( 2-3sec delay.

Hello, cane somebody write what to do, to speed up ML reactions to my settings? Is there any way?
When i change shuttler value, it takes about 3 sec. to see my adjustment. Exposure adjustment dead slow also :(
I remember some previous builds were faster, don't remember exactly with ones.
Iam referring to NB 5dm3 113

I am also missing audio controls in 5dm3 latest builds. Would like to use internal and external microphone at the same time :) In IPB and ALL-I recording. Is there any way to activate additional audio options in Nightly Build for 5dm3 ?

Hi everybody ! Thank You all for Your posts.
I was refering to All-I encoding. 2 reasons: it is taking much less processing power and gives no compression artefacts.
I know about sharpeing in post, yes you cane do it, but to do it right- is not so easy...

I dont like to do enything in post, becouse of quality degradation. White Balance for example.
Sharpeing in post is not really good. It boosts gain in whole image and make bokeh sharper.

Maybe a small modification in native 5dm3 sharpener will do the trick ?
I am using Canon 24-105 L

Hello Alex and all ml team!
Is it possible to improve native sharpening in Canon 5dmarkIII ?
I was using s0 in picture profiles and sharpnes was added in post. But there is some side effects of doing that:
1. Gain is going up
2. Bokech don't look soft, as it should be

I did update and downgrade between  112, 113, 121 with no bootflag and had no problems. Now Iam on ML 113 with Bootfalag ON and want to try newest 123. I was using Sandisk 16gb CF card

Would like to support 5dm3 development. How to?

Is it posible to unlock lens chromatic aberration options for non- canon lenses ? Vignetting correction would be great for video mode :)

Is it possible to temporally disconnect OLP filters just to see if they are any changes in video resolution ? Are they controlled electronically ?

Canon 5dm3 is giving us about 33% less pixels. 1080 is aprox. 700 and 720 is doing 500.
This is not as it should be at the price of 3500$ + lens + batteries + CF-s . . .
And they put "full hd" info on the box. WTF??? It is HD in FHD container! And 25p :(
Iam very disappointed user. There will be more if Canon dont do anything about this.

Canon: http://www.optyczne.pl/84.4-Test_obiektywu-Canon_EF_24-105_mm_f_4L_IS_USM_Rozdzielczość_obrazu.html
Falcon: http://www.optyczne.pl/178.4-Test_obiektywu-Falcon_85_mm_f_1.4_Aspherical_IF_Rozdzielczość_obrazu.html
Wide open, Canon is sharper. Settings were the same. Lens profiles off.
I did fast test on falcon 85mm comparing f 1.4 to 11. No difference in resolution. So is no chromatic aberration.

I found this interesting: http://www.eoshd.com/comments/topic/495-canon-5d-mark-iii-polarizer-improves-sharpness/

Yes. I am very greatful what Alex has been done witch Magic Lantern in 1 year. Will donate for sure.
The true about 5dm3 it that all it users suffer from low resolution. In my opinion this is Ahilles heel in video therms.
Each way is god to fix this.
Iam not an expert. All my knowledge i have, come from my experience and internet (information what i chose to believe).

Some time ago i did resolution test's using 5dm3 in 720p comparing prime to zoom lenses.
Main comparison was done between Canon 24-105 f4.0 at 85mm f4.0 and Falcon 85mm at f1.4
Conclusion is that prime lenses producing more lines (20-100 vertical pixels !) (5dm3 720p)
This also was visible during my work on source material i did.

I was asking myself why? From scientific tests done by "optyczne" Canon should produce more lines at 85mm f4 comparing to falcon 85mm f1.4. And this is true in photo mode. In video is not. It is opposite.

We know that prime lenses wide open produce strong chromatic aberration http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chromatic_aberration
This is something to do witch light diffraction. Maybe chromatic aberration is a quality factor in this case? So maybe OLPF filter ?

It was not scientific test, but proper enough to see the difrience.

I will do more tests witch only Falcon 85mm comparing f1.4 to 11 and publish them in about 20-30 days when i find the time for this.

Chromatic aberration come out on strong contrast.
