This would be the most ambitious crossover event in history.

White balance and DNG-files will be fixed in new version.

I was able to fix it quickly, just panicked because i rarely use mlv...
Thanks for the response and the effort u are putting into this.

(This is the best post software on ml, this thread should be stickied imo.)

Yo, sorry if this has already been asked... I am an mlv newbie, looking for a software to simply output cdng for ps then 3dequalizer.
I get a pinkish hue after converting. The preview is fine. Any ideas? 6d with latest 10 bit ml nightly. Is 10 bit mlv supported?
Update: mov output works, so i assume 10 bit is no problem. My first guess would be white balance.

I think its just white balance. The wb is way off in the exported dng, but as far as i can tell it can be fully corrected.

Thanks for this amazing software, i used mlrawviewer years ago, was disappointed when found out its abandoned. This is even better...

Keep a close eye on that card, no matter what manufacturer or model, they can go nuts very quickly...
If u disabled frame skipping and still have some black frames thats weird as well.

Im no dev, but I dont know of any reason a card shouldnt work with ml but without. I think the protocol is the same. Maybe a dev will correct me.
I would be scared to use it for production tho...

Pronin:
Im no dev, but sounds like a faulty sd card. If u have valuable information on the card, dont write on it, because u could overwrite and lose something valuable. U will have to restore the partition table of your sd card. Effectively unformat it. :)

I havent used this software, but found a tut that seems to be fine. http://www.partitionwizard.com/partitionmanager/how-to-restore-partition-on-sd-card.html

Hi folks,

I shot a few MLVs today, and the final frame doesnt match the one displayed while recording.
I used 1536x768 2:1, and the frame displayed had a wide black frame, which I assumed is the final crop. It is not, the actual footage has a smaller angle of view. Bummer...

What am I doing wrong? Or ill have to live with it?

Update: Ok, feel stupid now. The issue comes from ML Raw Viewer 1.3.3. If I watch the file fullscreen it gets cropped. No issue watching in a small window.
Ive been using this software for months, and I havent come across this so far.

Anyone else noticed this?

1%, I don't understand your point! My question was: If I can do 24fps continuously or not at some resolution, would it be possible take this 24 dngs and compress them to lossy dng on the fly using internal resources?
Thank you!

Im afraid your question has already been answered by 1%. And the answer is no.

Hi folks, this may be a tad a off... I read the topic on a daily basis, but have not found any news about 1.1.3 bootability recently.

Is this something impossible to do right now? Is there a chance that 1.1.4 or whatever comes next will be fully compatible with ML and we wont need to use 1.1.2 to make our cards bootable?

Thanks! :)

I'm sorry if this is redundant, but i really want to confirm. Can the 5D classic be hacked for video mode at all? I have a 5D that I love dearly and use extensively. But recently I feel the increasing need for video that I might have to sell my 5D (God forbids) to get maybe a cropped Rebel or the 50D. What do you guys think?

Not possible.

Maybe it's related to this? http://www.magiclantern.fm/bestpractices (second point)

but I couldn't reproduce it on 5Dc.

Yes, turned out I removed the cf card too fast. Problem solved

Im experiencing some weird battery drain issue while the camera is turned off. I havent had this in the earlier versions. I am not sure why. The workaround however is pretty easy, ill not store the battery in the camera when its unused.

full ack !!! Starting a project like this and then leaving this way is NOT ALLOWED  ;) :'(

Sukram.

I must disagree. They leave it with the promised features (and even more) fully developed and ready for action. Where to continue when its done? I think its ok.

Thank you guys!

Hi,

Hate to repeat the same thing over and over again, but my 5Ds back buttons dont work either.
My serial starts with 0, so it was made in 2005.

Love the project tho... :)
