A1ex, I know you don't need any more ego stroking, but gotta say, you're a flippin genius man.  Did some testing with this last night.

The extent to which you can push the RAW settings (shadows, highlights, exposure) around without noticeable noise is ASTOUNDING.  For video, however, the aliasing is noticeable enough to push this feature into the "only in extreme emergencies" category, for me at least.  And that's not meant to be a criticism in any way - when you skip lines, that's what will happen.  I will be watching for future developments on this, if you get any brilliant ideas on how to eliminate the aliasing, this would be downright unfair to every other camera on the market

By the way, I was looking around for the "Donate" link - would like to toss more into the kitty.  But couldn't find it anywhere.

yes, lovely lady, but soooooo much noise in the background that my eyes hurt.

I can't seem to force myself to concentrate on the background. Odd

We didn't notice any flickering (using LightRoom 4), so didn't see a need to revert to process 2010

Lenses were 70-200 II, 24L II, 35L, 135L, and Bower 14mm.
(several others on hand, but those were what was used for the shots you see)

NEVERMIND.  This is a post/importing issue, not a capture issue.  Wasn't framerate, perfectly good DNG's just weren't getting imported with the rest.  Got it sorted

Admins can delete this if you like.

(BUT if anyone else gives the Lightroom + LRTimelapse pro templates post processing route a try, be sure to uncheck "Don't Import Suspected Duplicates" in the file handline options.  For some reason, LR was seeing DNG's as suspected duplicates, despite the fact that they weren't, and was leaving them out of the import to Library)

Raw Video / skipped frames (not logged) 5D3

Is anyone else experiencing dropped frames, that aren't logged or noticed by ML?  I'm shooting 1920x1080 on 5D3, Komputerbay 64GB (benchmarks at 95mbps), and don't have Drop Frames set to allow.  So theoretically, recording should stop if a frame is dropped, or am I mistaken?

Quite often, after going through post, there is an obvious frame drop (most noticeable when something is moving at a steady pace across frame and jumps)

Sure, he's charging $20, but pouring through the daily happenings here, and then constantly updating his material isn't something I'd be in the mood to do.

Also, in the process, he may be diverting stupidity, and preventing another 500 posts in this forum from newbies who can't figure out basic questions like "I installed the 5D Mark 3 Alpha build from the home page, but can't find the option to shoot raw?!?!"   heh

Just curious - last week you'd mentioned possibly having Alpha2 ready this week?  Curious if that's still a possibility

Have a shoot this weekend, and a bit drooly at the possibility of shooting a version of an outdoor scene with HDR (which you'd also mentioned possibly coming in Alpha2) and seeing how it goes.   No pressure though - haha - your work is SO appreciated!!!!!!
