Title: mlv_rec vs raw_rec

Is there a comprehensive guide somewhere with the exact differences between the two?

Also I just tried shooting mlv_rec, but it leaves me with MLV files that I don't know how to process. I tried running searches but nothing really came up...

Are you on Mac, PC, Linux...what?

Have you read the tons of threads about .mlv files?

If you're not down with .mlv, don't use it and stick to .raw for the time being.

I'm on Mac.
I have read today too much about things that change every week. I tried a software fro OSX that doesn't work in OSX Mavericks. I delete de module MVL because I can't do nothing with it.

you can try above "app" for batchprocesding mlvfiles.
Pretty easy to install

I say just stick with .raw until RawMagic or some other GUI-friendly app emerges for Mac.

Danne- I still have the old recursive script. Has spanning been fixed with the newest version? Not near a computer to test.

It worked from the very beginning. Did you even try?

*Optional is to change the mlv_dump to the latest one and run the commandscript.

Looks like I needed to update MLV Dump in usr/bin to get spanning working. Thanks. Also, in your other post I'd mention that people need to chmod before they can use the script. Excellent work all!
