Title: Underwater MLRAW at 60fps
Post by: hackattack on December 12, 2013, 01:13:14 AM
We just shot some underwater footage with MLRAW on the 5Dmk3.  I did a write up on our blog about the experience (http://swansonstudio.us/blog/2013/12/11/ebb-and-flow-using-magic-lantern-at-60fps/).  We used the 1920x677 setting, so we only had 4 seconds of shoot time.

Here's some of the awesome footage!

Looks amazing!  Have you used Twixtor and if so how does it compare?  I am testing learning Twixtor now so I am curios.
Thanks for sharing your work!

Yes I've used Twixtor. I find Kronos to be more powerful and its 50% the cost.  If thats not enough of a reason you also get a plugin that is similar to RSMB which is pretty handy when ramping up footage.

I'm going to be posting a tutorial on Kronos next week to achieve the results in my video.  I'll be sure to link it here.

Go grab Kronos, its got a 15 day trial!
