Title: 5D Mark II RAW Crop Mode FPS
Post by: swordinhand on November 12, 2013, 06:24:11 PM
Hi Everyone!

This is my first post here.  Just recently started using ML, why did I wait so long haha?  I want to thank everyone at ML who worked on the FW.  It has been such an amazing thing to discover and use!

Anyway, my question is about the crop mode in RAW.  I've noticed that when I zoom in to enable the crop mode, my FPS goes from 23.976 to 29.97.  I've also confirmed that the files, viewed in RAWMagic, are listed as 29.97.  Is there a way to switch frame rates?

For reference:

- I'm using the November 7th nightly build
- 32GB Lexar 1000x cards
- Resolution is 1920x818 (2.35) in crop
- Can't seem to get a steady continuous recording (is this a limitation of my card or the camera?)

I'm just hoping there's a way to switch 24p, because this may enable a continuous recording, with my setup.  I'd rather not lower the resolution, if I don't have to.  Thanks for any help!

Yes there is, and all you have to do is actually read the Sticky posted above the thread you just started unnecessarily that would have completely answered your question without you needing to add more clutter to this forum.

Sigh.

Thanks for the link.  I totally overlooked that sticky, my bad.
