I have down graded firmware from 1.2.1 to 1.1.3, gone through all ways of loading ML but to no avail, my MkIII just will not recognize, ML firmware...any ideas, please, would be much appreciated.

More details needed, but you might want to verify that you properly "prepared" the SD card for ML. On my MacBook Pro, it involves using a utility called "macbook" to prepare the SD card so that the camera can boot off it. Have you done that?
