Title: Split general & modules discussions
Post by: Marsu42 on September 19, 2013, 01:38:44 PM
Suggestion: With now 10 sticky threads the "general discussion" is getting rather cluttered, I suggest adding a "module support & discussion" subforum where - next to module-related threads - each module could have a sticky'ed support thread that's mentioned in the modules' readme files.

The idea was raised by pravdomil (http://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=7539.0).

It's on the todo list.  The new build bot and a few other more important tasks are being completed first.

Thanks for pointing out the dupe, I didn't see that thread - and good idea,  pravdomil, but wrong subforum :-p

How about a forum called "Extending ML" or alike and then everything in there. Scripts, Modules. The biggies get their subforum.
I don't think it would be too crowded in there.
The only thing that really would solve all this to a satisfactory degree is the scripting arriving in form of a module :P

Once the section is created and all relevant topics moved, it will be easier see if any small tweaks are needed.

I have moved a few of the modules to Scripts, Extensions, and Patches and pinned them for easy find.
