Title: 50D shutter count
Post by: AVS on September 09, 2013, 10:35:50 PM
ML shows shutter count on my 50D this way:
22K = 30750+-8292
How to read this info. What is the real count?

22K = 30750+-8292

That is the old display which translated as 22,458 photo actuations (rounded down to 22K), 30750 total shutter actuations of which 8292 was for Liveview or Video.

The display was changed at some point in development and now would look like this:

31K  = 22,458 + 8292

30,750 Total (rounded up to 31K) = 22,458 photo actuations + 8292 Liveview actuations
