Title: Turn off LCD and LV after 0sec
Post by: domasa on August 18, 2013, 12:49:27 AM
I have 5D2 with CF Transcend UDMA7 600x 32GB. When I shoot RAW video in 1856x1044 24fps with configuration "Global Draw off" and "Turn off  LCD and LV" after 5sec ("Enable power savin: on Recording") I have about 800-1200 images. I think if the configure "Turn off  LCD and LV" could be set to "after 0sec" (unsupported value) the number of images will be higher. Yes - I can not see LCD display when I shooting but number of shots is more importantly for me...

with a 1000x card You can already get around 1,960 frames even with liveview on and not turning off your lcd. A 600x is simply too slow for what the 5D2 is capable of.

But this hack can increase number of frames on 5D2 with 1000x card too...
