Title: RAW 70 mm cropped 3x vs 200mm non cropped...is the same?
Post by: mhimhi on July 26, 2013, 03:27:37 PM
I make only RAW videos on my 5dmkii. In your opinion, does it make any sense to buy a 70-200 2.8, if i got already a 24-70 2.8 ?

No it is not the same, because your sensor gets smaller.

Just like the difference between a crop sensor and a FF sensor, it has the equivalent field of view but lacks the other qualities of that longer focal length like compression and DoF.
