Title: My lossless workflow for Magic Lantern RAW DaVinci Resolve and Final Cut Pro X
Post by: meditant on July 25, 2013, 09:35:31 PM
Hello,

I present my workflow, if its can help someone. It's in french but it's very visual :

Presentation of a working method to assemble and calibrate a film shot in RAW with Magic Lantern.

I use XML exchanges and the following tools:

The advantage is that the calibration is done only with DaVinci Resolve and dng files. So we are still working with the RAW calibration, installation is meanwhile with Final Cut Pro X. Therefore there is no loss of quality images.

The flow is as follows:

RAW> raw2dng> Resolve> Generation proxy and XML project for FCPX> Transfer film for calibration up to Resolve> Calibration with RAW CinemaDNG> Transfer files clips calibrated and a FCPX project completion (Titles, credits, etc.).
