Title: Greater than 1080p resolutions on 5DMK3
Post by: kgyalla on July 19, 2013, 11:10:09 PM
I have the 5Dmk3 with running Ml2.3. I have a set of 64gb komputer bay cards. For some reason I can't get ML to let me select higher than 1080p. This includes even 2048 x 1152 at 16:9. IT says "2048 is not possible in current video mode". What do I need to do to allow me to record in high resolutions.

How do you get 3x zoom... when I push the zoom button I get 5x or 10x. o_0

Ultimately understand that Crop Mode is a compromise, it will get you higher resolution video (limited by how fast your card is), and less or no moire artifacts, but it comes with some negatives such as being difficult to frame, poor live view of what you're shooting, and in some cases messed up frames.
