Title: Bulb Ramping with external intervalometer

Is it possible to have the bulb ramping work without ML's intervalometer, but with an external intervalometer?
That way a timelapse dolly could control the shots, and ML could ramp the exposure?

Bulb ramping is no longer there, use ETTR and post deflicker: http://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=5705

and yes, ETTR works with external triggers.
