Title: After eyefi installed magic lantern,5d3 can't boot
Post by: 5bk on June 23, 2013, 10:16:51 AM
After eyefi installed magic lantern,5d3 can't boot。when trying to uninstall according to the instructions from forum, there are some points not very clear. It says that to remove the bootflag (for using Eyefi cards),run firmware update from a ML card and follow the instructions. 1.What's ML card?
2.Run which firmware update?Magic Lantern or canon 5d3?
Could you please make it more clear ?Thank you

Hello! While all versions with rawmode is beta(nightly builds) there isn,t any green screen that disables the bootflag like before. Not yet. Therefore, at the moment you can,t disable it. However, someone seems to have succeed disabling the bootflag by putting the canon 1.1.3 firmware and reinstalling this firmware to the camera. I have no idea if this actaully removes the bootflag or not. I rather play around with the nightly builds keeping it in "bootmode".
Check this thread out. If you try ths solution, please let us know if it works or not. Good luck!
