Title: Strange framing with HDMI-monitor
Post by: guentergunter on June 17, 2013, 07:07:30 PM
EDIT:
I found the option to turn on 'Force HDMI-VGA', which in the actual nightly has a new place I didn't search for properly until now.
With this enabled, framing is correct again, but the resolution is limited to 720x480 (really bad, if you want to let your monitor do peaking!).

So, what's to be done? I really would like to have correct frames extern.

It happends to me also with my 2 lillipurts (7"" and 5,6') with the last 5d2 alpha version...
It happends during a real production...

This alpha version is not stable for the moment (it's an alpha...)

To retrieve your screen with a good framing :
1) Keep your Cf card (with problem) in your canon
2) make instalation firmware again (in Canon firmware menu)
3) but unistall the firmware in second step
4) format CF card (in Canon firmware menu) erase ML !
5) Put Cf car in your computer and copy ML
6) Put CF in your Canon again
7) make instalation firmware (in Canon firmware menu)

problem must have gone...
It's working with me.

I donc know why it happends...

Is it Ok with you ?
