Title: Digital Dolly Speed Config
Post by: PhilK on May 31, 2013, 06:02:31 PM
Hi all,

Can you add a feature to specify the number of frames per pixel move?  So, for example a value of 50 @ 2.5 FPS would work out at nearly 11 seconds per pixel move.

Would be fantastic for FPS Adjusted Timelapse.

If you run at 24 FPS higher values, such as 250 or 500 might be good as well.

Thanks
Phil

Just press the button a few times.

Actually some way to program sequences would be good. Also have to press arrows twice to get it to start rolling. But yea, not a priority.

Yes, thats speeds it up.

I was wondering about a much, much slower movement that once started doesn't need the button pressing.  So you have the camera on the tripod without touching it again once panning has started and it'll slowly pan across the sensor in the direction of the arrow pressed.

Possible?  Desirable feature?

Thanks
Phil

Agreed, 1%.  Let's get raw video working fully first, but it would be nice to have then ;-)

The button presses cause a disturbance even on a tripod.

True, but if you go wait -> shift one pixel then you at least have the opportunity to crop the button press wobble from the start of the shot.

I'm interested in a digital dolly speed adjustment feature for video shooting as well.
