Post by: zeissure on May 28, 2013, 02:34:42 AM
Hi guys!

Wich way is the best way to set expsoure for video?

I have magic lantern and a small hd monitor with false color. I heard that histograms in photography should be expose to the right, but this doesnt count for video ( dave dugdale)

Wich expsoure tool do you recomend, and exactly how should i use it.

Also, shootin cinestyle, so expose in neutral and then switch to cinestyle?

"exposing to the right "can be very useful specially when you shoot indoor situation
If you shoot RAW you can adjust exposure in the post

On the documentary that I just finished I used waveforms rather than histogram as I just found it much more intuitive to use.
