Title: 2.5K non-RAW for t2i, etc.
Post by: vonner on May 15, 2013, 02:18:17 PM
Is it possible to use the same basic process that you guys are working with RAW and apply it to JPEG instead?  If you can crop the RAW image and make video out of it, can you do the same for JPEG to get different resolutions?  It wouldn't be as flashy as RAW, but it would be neat to have the ability to do things like re-frame in post, especially with the lower-end cameras.

fps override is intended to change frame rate, not to re-frame a shot (changing the filmed area): it doesn't change the resolution of the movie...

That is true. My mistake; as I read "re-frame" as wanting to change the frame-rate.
