Title: Urbex - Cinema Varia
Post by: Lacourphotos on February 08, 2013, 10:09:48 AM
Hello ML-ers!

In Belgium there is an old cinema.

The Cinema-Theatre Varia was built in 1913 and designed by architect E. Claes. It is located in the district of Jumet, in the north of the city of Charleroi.
Closed in 1986, the particular facade and roof structure were listed as historic monument in 1992.
Renovation started end of 2004 but was recently cancelled by lack of funds (roof and windows was reinforced and sealed to prevent any further damage).

Those are some really nice shots, is the building open to the public or did you have to get some kind of permission to get in to take the photos?
