Title: sunset HDR over the roofs
Post by: gordo1507 on February 07, 2013, 08:11:58 PM
I did this photo yesterday with the automativ hdr-function from magic lantern because the sunset was so amazing and I also wanted to capture the areas under the roofs. I am very happy with the colours and hope you like it too!

Well shot! I love how natural it looks for an HDR.

Did we look at the same sky???

Did this without ML, and no HDR...

So for the sky alone there's no need for HDR. The difference between your two photographs is obviously not in the sky, but in the ground: without HDR it's a black silhouette. (Which is nice, too)

you are 100% correct. Without HDR i cant make the same photo...  just notices that the sky looked alike...

Nice shot. Good use of HDR! I've been wanting to shoot something similar, but the sky has just been grey and dull for the last few weeks here in norway :/

@blade It could have been the same sky if you are living in Niedersachsen, Germany  ;)
@Emil luckily I got to this sunset the day but normally we don't see this sky too!
