hi Francis thank you for your response. but this conflict with the one in youtube?
The instruction Francis provided are for uninstalling ML from the CARD ONLY.
If you want to reset the bootflag too you have to re-run the installer and turn the mode dial when prompted to do so. After that you can simply do a low-level format of your card from the camera
Do you mind if I ask you why do you want to remove ML from your camera? It would help us a lot :)
edit: the video you linked was shot using an old version of ML. Things have changed since then

HI, thank you for the response. i have no plan removing magic lantern in my canon 600d. incase there will be problem functionality and still under waranty i need to restore the factory setting.
I seem to be unable to remove ML from my 600D.
If I go to the firmware update process with an ML card in the camera, then it just appears to install again.
I don't get any dialog saying I need to turn the mode dial or anything.
How do I remove it?
I have a problem with my 600D and want to completely remove ML to first confirm it isn't causing the problem, and then returning to Canon for Service if it is still there.
EDIT: I solved it. I followed the instructions properly this time :)
the way i uninstalled ML is by changing to another mode then updating the firmware with all the ML stuff on SD card. take SD card out then format it then stick it back in the camera. then it should be back Canon firmware.
