Title: framerate in ML 5dmkii
Post by: johnwe on October 30, 2012, 03:30:27 AM
I set the frame rate in ML to 65, but the footage says it's still 29.9.

Is it actually possible to get a higher frame rate on a 5d?

In 30P I don't think it goes much above that. In 720x60P you can do like 62 or 3.

Canon menu. Should let you select 30/24/720p60 and 480p.

I think you must be referring to the 5d mark iii  I have the mark ii

it gives 1080 at 24 and 30 fps or 640x480

wish there was a solution to get a higher fps

600D has it, I think t2i does too. 5dII doesn't? Only 24, 30 and 480p30?

I think 720p options were added in mark iii

Guess there is a down side to 5dII besides 32bit file sizes. I see there was a stink about this and they were supposed to add it but never did.
