Title: DIY Steadycam
Post by: hoganmw on October 06, 2012, 01:52:33 PM
I decided to show you guys my first DIY Steadycam project. I've made it about one year ago. Unfortunatelly was a little bit to light for my 7D+battery grip. I sold it but now I wish to have it back.

That looks great, nice work. :)

Did it work well?

Worked very well. First time took me couple of hours to adjust everything but after I finished was great.
Because I use 7D with baterry grip all the time there was small problem. My steadycam's arm should be longer and to reduce unwanted vibrations top mount plate should be shorter. I sold it and now I do not have time to make another one :)

If you ever get to a position in porducing these, I wouldn't mind buying one from ya. Would rather support a Fellow ML user than some factory  ;)
