I know that ml cannot control focus w/o liveview (doh!), but is there a way to start liveview w/o the camera turning on the screen? That would at least simulate a quieter operation, I'd like to prevent focus stacking to constantly flicker between shots...
One of the FA functions I tested trying to get PTP going without USB turns off the screen. I think both FA_PCLVStart and lv_old_start Wouldn't regular power save and info button do the same thing?
Or is it more complicated because the buffers will still update with screen off?
