Post by: aniki on July 17, 2022, 09:40:52 AM
hi
when recording a video in RAW it seems to me that it is slow.
tried different settings for recording, the same result is everywhere
to record the video, I used sandisk extreme 64gb overclock 192mhz
firmware crop_rec4k.
I shot this video with the settings 1824x776 25fps 12bit lossless
please tell me what can be done

Sorry but I have no clue what you are talking about.
Slow = Laggish user interface?
Slow = Frame rate problem?
Slow = Short record durations?
Slow = Slow processing?
Slow = Slow replay in camera?
...

Please put more details in your description: What are you doing, with which ML version (be precise about it!), what exactly is your problem and how to reproduce your problem.

yes there is a problem with the frame rate.
i use crop_rec_4k magiclantern-Nightly.2020Jul16.
I'm recording a video in mlv_lite, after that I export the video for adobe premier pro via MLV_APP.
export settings - apple pro res 4444, debayer receipt configuration, smooth aliasing 3pass
and in the premiere you can already see that the video is slow.

You have to adapt frame rate.
Check frame rate of recording and match settings in Premiere.
Most likely your footage is recorded in 29.97 fps and you are handling it as 24 or 25 fps.

..smooth aliasing 3pass.

Probably this setting affect the smoothness of video (produce ghosting which make the video looks a little choppy)?
Try with smooth aliasing turned off and see if it solve your problem.

Upload short MLV sample, cut it in MLVApp (1 second is enough), then export it as MLV "Fast pass" and upload it somewhere.

Hello,

I'll try disabling aliasing to see if that works too and see how smooth the video is. Anyway, thanks for sharing.
