Title: HDMI Output view is stretched and low resolution
Post by: GregSmack on November 22, 2021, 09:16:55 PM
Hey, when using rawVideo recording (3:2 aspects ratio at 1824x1216px 1.00x)  my 6D only outputs a stretched live view via HDMI, and it also looks far from 1824x1216px. More like below HD. (I don't have VGA 720p ennabled) Any suggestions?

Your camera should do max. 1620x1080 in photo mode and 1620x912 in photo mode via HDMI. Both embedded in 1080i60.
Nothing ML can do about it.

I wouldn't mind 1620x912 with black bars but it's stretched (more like squeezed from top to bottom) via HDMI which makes the LV via HDMI useless :/

Sorry but I cannot test it, no 6D around.
Maybe another user can test this.
What build are you using? Help screen -> bottom lines.

EDIT: And does it happen with camera connect to TV Set/other monitor via HDMI, too?
