Title: 1.6x crop mode for photography to use APS-C lenses?
Post by: mannyfresh79 on October 20, 2021, 07:30:35 PM
Is there a 1.6x crop mode for photography? So I can use Canon EF lenses designed for APSc sensor cameras? The R5 has this feature so it had me curious why ML couldn't do this.

I realize you can do this in post, but having it in-camera through ML would reduce the editing time and make it more convenient.

The R5 has this feature
Most are annoyed about the fact that this mode cannot be switched off with Canon lenses ...

If you would create a crop RAW, then probably no RAW converter could process the RAW.
