Title: Activate 14bit RAW in 1920x1080
Post by: sigourneyanderson on September 21, 2021, 05:27:42 AM
Hi,

I activated 14bit RAW in 1920x1080, but except for the replay function I just simply don't have access to my recorded footage.
It clearly tells me that it saves A:/DCIM/M27-1251/M27-1254.MLV: 1920x1080, but where is it? How can I get it?

I'm clueless!

Please help!

Thanks in advance!!!

In camera? Canon itself does only support "native" files and MLV files are not. You won't see them after pressing play button.

Load file_man.mo and restart. Then access Debug tab/screen -> File Manager to browse through directory/folder structure.
To play an MLV file you need to have mlv_play.mo loaded.

On Computer and via USB/WiFi connection? Nope, "native" file thingy again. You need to use a cardreader.
Caveat: Depending on card's file system (ExFAT, FAT32), settings and recording duration you may get chunks of files named *.M00, *,M01, *.M02, etc.
Those files are created if *.MLV reaches 4 GB. And you have to copy them, too.
MLVapp can handle file chunking if files are found in the same directory as *.MLV.
