Hey! My 6D won't turn on. I have been using 6D with ML for 4 years without any problem and this is what happened:
1. I was adjusting the white balance through the ML main menu and at that moment my screen turned pink and froze
2. The LED light turned red and glowed for a long time. The switch did not work
3. I took out the battery and since then my 6D is not responding to anything
4. I found a1ex diagnostic tools and my camera turned on
5. I tested it and everything froze again
6. I installed a different firmware (I used firmware from Levas). Then the camera began to work without freezing.
7. I downloaded the firmware from Levas again and installed it to use all the custom settings
8. The same thing happened, but now autoexec.bin does not wake up my camera and it does not react to anything AT ALL
What can you recommend? I really hope for your help. Thank you for your time and attention
I also noticed error 80 and this:
Boot flags: FIR=0 BOOT=-1 RAM=-1 UPD=-1
ROMBASEDDDR: 0xFF0C0000
Clean install:
Format card in cardreader
Format card in cam
Copy extracted build content to card
Run firmware update
Revised shutdown procedure:
Turn power off
Wait at least 5 seconds
Open battery compartment and remove battery
Remove card.
Try to follow revised shutdown procedure and report back if damage occurs again.
How could I format card in cam if it wont turn on?

Ok, I did that with EOSCard. Camera is working. Than everything happened again

Try
Remove battery, insert fresh PC-formatted card. Startup.
This turned on the camera

Oh. Camera froze again. With formatted card. What should I do?
It shows up err [80]
Same with another card. Camera works fine for few minutes. Then err [80] occurs, screen freezes

ERR80 comes from MPU (https://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=24438.0) so it's most likely a hardware failure, not related to Magic Lantern.
I don't think we have a way to even pinpoint error source for ones coming from MPU.
Probably some hardware defect.
But out of curiosity, what happens when you use no sd card at all ? Does the camera work, can you enable liveview, does err 80 still show up ?
Yeah, with no SD card err 80 still occurs. LiveView works

So, Should I go to Canon store to fix hardware failure?
Not sure if you googled on err80 canon, but some say it happens due dust behind the memorycard door, maybe some dust shorting some pins ?
Other say you should try deattach and reaatach the lens(see if something is wrong with those metal contact pins.
Before going to Canon I would try some of the stuff found by googling err80 Canon.

Thank you. Camera works extended time with no error, when liveviews is off. Even with SD card in
