Greetings,
I am a new Canon user (I own a Sony Nex 6 and have owned a Nikon D3200 in the past). I was doing some research online and I saw that ML has unlocked 6K Raw capability out of the M50. I have a M50, but when I go to downloads, I don't see a specific build for it. I got the info from: https://www.eoshd.com/news/canon-m50-hacked-features-6k-raw-and-a-i-driven-menus/
Is there a tutorial for this, or can anyone walk me through it as I am VERY interested? I looked in the tutorial section but I didn't se anything specific for the M50. Did I miss something? I don't want to brick the camera. I am fairly knowledgeable on flashing firmwares etc, but I want to make sure that I get the steps right.
Can anyone confirm/deny/assist?
BTW.. I have Canon firmware 1.0.3 on my M50

Walter,
Ok, if it is an April Fools joke, then so be it. However, I suppose part of my original question still stands. With Canon firmware 1.0.3 is there a build for my M50. If not, okay, but if so, do I use the EOS M build or is there another one somewhere?
I guess that this post (which you have replied to as well), sort of answers my question:

So it looks like there are some who are trying to figure it out, but nothing end-user as of today, is that correct?
Yes, it most likely will take months or even years. I suppose your best options are checking every few months or subscribe to ML's twitter account (https://twitter.com/autoexec_bin) to keep up-to-date.
Great. Thanks for the info :)
