Title: Use USB as second output for MLV RAW files
Post by: EvanMcG on October 27, 2020, 09:25:08 AM
Using ML, would it be possible to record MLV files to both the USB port output (connected to an SD card reader) and the SD card, alternating between frames? This would double the write speed on older cameras, such as the 700D. There could then be a setting in, say, the MLV compiler to use two separate video files, one on the USB output and another on the normal SD, to process, where it then sets frame 1 from the SD and frame 2 from the USB, and so on.

This could also be used to increase raw shooting speeds because write speeds could be doubled.

Impossible because Canon cams can not act as USB hosts.
