Title: Fix video crop with a speedbooster?
Post by: reece4504 on October 18, 2020, 05:01:11 AM
Hello, kind of a dumb question but this forum is many years old and I'm coming across a lot of outdated information.
I wondered if it would be possible to reduce or eliminate the sensor crop when shooting RAW video by using a speedbooster, since they increase the focal length a decent amount. I want to use the EOS M to shoot 2.7K upscaled 4K video, but for my usecase the crop is a dealbreaker. If it were not so substantial I might be able to work with it, perhaps using a 30mm lens to give me the required FOV. What do you think of this idea?
