Title: Downloading the ML for 5D MARK II
Post by: shangul on September 27, 2020, 12:07:47 AM
Hi everyone,

I am new to Majic Lantern. I want to download it mainly because my 5D II doesn't do more than 3 Exposure Bracketings (EB), and I want to be able to do 5 or 7 EB.

So I have been reading on ML and watching youtube videos. I have just updated my firmware (from 2.1.1) to 2.1.2.
But I can't seem to find where exactly I should download the (right version of ML).

I am Mac OS (Apple) User!
A youtuber gave this https://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?PHPSESSID=ncguj9td7drb2tj5rhkanalpnn8qvuho&topic=19336.0 (https://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?PHPSESSID=ncguj9td7drb2tj5rhkanalpnn8qvuho&topic=19336.0), but there seems to have been alot of changes and updates and I didn't want to risk download something that may be corrupt or not be stable.

This link https://www.tipsforrealestatephotography.com/how-to/turn-canon-bracketing-machine-free/ (https://www.tipsforrealestatephotography.com/how-to/turn-canon-bracketing-machine-free/) sends me to this link https://builds.magiclantern.fm/5D2-212.html (https://builds.magiclantern.fm/5D2-212.html), but I am not 100% sure if I should if this ( magiclantern-Nightly.2018Jul03.5D2212.zip) or if it is the right/stable version to download on today which, Sep 26, 2020.

Than you in advance, for being super helpful!

Top of page -> Downloads -> Download nightly builds -> 5D Mark II -> Installation
For starters ...
There are more advanced builds but for Bracketing it will do nicely. AFAIK this feature wasn't touched meanwhile.

If you only want to shoot photos, use Nightly.2018Jul03.5D2212, it is very stable from my expirience, we used 5D2 on critical photoshoots with this build and never had any problems.
