After many experiments trying to find the 'best' way to show focus information, eg for setting infinity and focus bracketing, I've finally settled on integrating things into the ML bars.
This latest version of my Depth Of Field Ibfo Script (DOFIS) has been tweaked for use by photographers and videographers and covers all my DoF ideas, as well as incorporating exposure bracketing, with and without focus bracketing.
Simply, DOFIS is the only focus tool you need to use.

Although the main topic recently has been the R5/R6 developments, I've been plugging on making DOFIS the focus tool that everyone should have running on their camera: for photography or videography.
This latest release now allows DOFIS to be used with ML advanced bracketing.

Another uplift for my DOFIS script. This time addressing a couple of 'limitations' in ML Lua: around the RAW Spotmeter and ML Advanced Bracketing.
The latest version now allows semi-auto exposure bracketing in all auto focus bracketing modes, as well as when no focus bracketing has been selected.
The DOFIS exposure bracketing is based on 'only' telling DOFIS the ML spotmeter reading in the shadow region, after carrying out an ML ETTR.

'Finally', as promised, here is the latest version of DOFIS, that now uses an asymmetric, split lens model.
This latest version gives the correct field of views (horizontally, vertically and diagonally) as the lens changes focus, ie fully modelling lens breathing.
It also 'correctly' estimates DoFs from macro to the deep far field, although DOFIS only reports relative DoFs greater than a mm ;)
For the pano photographers, DOFIS now estimates the position of the pano pivot point, ie relative to the sensor.

I'm pleased to release the 2021 version of DOFIS, that now provides focus information, eg infinity focusing and focus bracketing, outside of LV; so you can use your viewfinder and get focus info.

Yes, I've used it for internal shots and, as you say, ie looking out of a window. It looks as if it might be useful IF you also need to focus bracketing indoors. The sky bracket can be set between 2-6 Ev, ie relative to the rest of the scene.
An alternative approach, using DOFIS, is to use Dual-ISO when auto focus bracketing, ie without the sky bracket, but having ETTRed for the scene. But here you are limited to less than a 3Ev lift for the shadows.
Another approach is to use ML's advance bracketing, together with DOFIS's manual focus bracketing traffic light feature.
Bottom line: I have tried to craft DOFIS as a versatile focus tool for all photographers and videographers, ie who want to have more control and info on focus.

The same way it is used in all compatible builds: Copy *.lua to ML\Scripts and activate LUA.mo.
If the scripts don't work builds are not compatible. They require LUA support implemented in lua_fix builds.
Either prepare a spare card with lua_fix build or juggle with ML directory and autoexec.bin renaming. Take your pick.
