Good luck putting that on a car. I don't think this is too relevant for autonomous driving as they say in the article, as the biggest challenge is not how to get good image quality but how to read and predict movements of objects.
This might be relevant for other areas though, like microscopic images and astrophotography. Thanks for sharing the link.

Yeah. A data rate that fast is impressive but there's no way we have the capabilities of processing all of that data. I feel like we will need a super huge GPU that's millions of times faster and more powerful than the what we currently use in order to process so much data quickly in or to predict well enough to be considered 100% safe on vehicles.
