Title: Cheapest SD for 2 hour recording
Post by: fanfzero on February 26, 2020, 08:53:26 AM
Hi! I'm looking for a cheap big SD for using with my eos m for recording full conferences or local bands shows. My intention is to use 1080p 24/25fps raw.

I've seen the transcend SDXC/SDHC 300S and the lexar x633 in 512GB model at good prices, but I'm afraid I can't record continuous (specially on the transcend, as I own a 64 gb 500S and it records continuous, but when there's too much light/movement/I don't know it gets orange and then red, once it stopped recording)

Any special reccommendation? Should I buy the 32 GB model (really cheap) and then if it works switch to the 512 one?

I only use Sandisk Extreme PRO 95 MB / s and 170 MB / s. On a 128 GB (170 MB / s) memory at the given resolution, I stuff 40-50 minutes of material.
