I've just started using ML yesterday and I like the features a lot. My problem is though that no matter what I am not getting Audio from my hotshoe mic. I have a Canon 700D with a Takstar SGC-598 Mic to record audio. The camera itself is receiving signal from the mic (as I checked in the camera's settings), but when I play back the files on the camera or my computer, there is nothing. Does anyone else have this Issue? Is there a way to fix it?
P.S. I deactivated MLV Raw format but theres still nothing.
Startup cam while holding SET pressed. Cam will run plain Canon now.
1) Record with internal mic only.

2) Connect external device and record. Does it work?
